James John Sneith, 78, of Eighty Four, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in his home.
He was born November 25, 1937, in Charleroi, a son of Robert and Sara Gales Sneith.
In 1979, Mr. Sneith retired as a staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, having served for 20 years. He also served for four years in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Korea.
Mr. Sneith enjoyed watching Westerns, James Bond movies and playing video games.
In 1961, he met his wife, Sheila Steele. Three months later, they married January 13, 1962. They were married for 56 years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son and daughter-in-law, Jayme and Amy of Scenery Hill; two daughters, September Joy and Steve of San Antonio, Texas, and Misty Dawn of Charleroi; five grandchildren, Sage, Camille, Megan, Ryan and Austin; and a great-grandchild, Evie.
Deceased is his brother, Robert Sneith.
There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes Inc., Bentleyville.
