Patricia A. “Pat” May, 75, of Washington, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 25, 2018.

She was born February 14, 1943, in Washington, a daughter of the late John A. and Antoinette V. “Toni” Luginski Woloszyn.

Mrs. May graduated from Washington High School in 1961. She was first employed as a packer at Continental Can No. 1 and later at Kmart, from where she retired.

At one time, she was a 4-H leader in Lagonda. She enjoyed scrapbooking with her daughter Wendy and baking Christmas cookies with her daughter Beth. She loved all animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed sewing and making customized cards and was a huge Paula Dean fan. She also enjoyed polka music and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

On May 5, 1965, she married James R. “Jim” May, who died December 9, 1989.

Surviving are two daughters, Beth Ann (Nick) Cross of Washington and Wendy Lee May of Washington; two grandchildren, Christopher and Nathan Cross; and two best friends, Millie Schurr and Violet “Vi” Uphold, with whom she loved spending time.

Deceased, in addition to her father, mother and husband, is a sister, Carol Ward.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon, the hour of service, Thursday, March 29, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
