Frank L. Washabaugh, 76, of Imperial, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, in UPMC-Mercy hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born February 18, 1942, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Charles and Bertha Mae Springer Washabaugh.

Mr. Washabaugh was self-employed in crude oil production for more than 60 years.

He loved doing puzzle books, fishing, hunting, collecting coins and going to the family camp with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Marlene F. Washabaugh of Imperial; four children, Frank D. Washabaugh of Imperial, Marybeth (John) Sinagoga of Imperial, Dr. Charles H. (Susan) Washabaugh of Frederick, Md., and Allen W. Washabaugh of Canonsburg; nine grandchildren, Steven Washabaugh, Ashley (Mike) May, Mark Washabaugh, Dr. Katie Lynn Sinagoga, 1st Lt. Anthony John (Caitlin) Sinagoga and Emily, Ryan, A.J. and Audrey Washabaugh; and four great-grandchildren, Brenden, Carson, Kameron and Jordan.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a grandson, Chris Washabaugh.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 305 Main Street, Imperial, 724-695-2800, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31. Interment will follow in Valley Cemetery, Imperial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
