Ira A. Sherry, 78, of McDonald, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born January 24, 1940, in Woodstock, Va., a son of the late Alex and Blanche Markley Sherry.
Mr. Sherry was a draftsman with Lehigh Designs and Dravo Corp.
He loved traveling to tropical places, cooking and trying new recipes for the family, and he was the family card maker, personalizing them for family and friends. He enjoyed bird watching, bowling and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Derbyshire Bracall Sherry of McDonald; children, Kim (Mike) Klinger and Wendy Sherry; stepchildren, Lisa (Joe Loddo) Bracall, Andrea (Ted) Swoger and John (Holly) Bracall; grandchildren, Kacy, Kory, and Travis Klinger and Kayla, Matthew and Lindsay Bracall; and a sister, June (Richard) Dunn.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Sherry.
