Harriett Ilene Chanaki, 86, of Alicia, died Monday, April 30, 2018, in Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.

She was born in Flatwoods, Fayette County, March 15, 1932, a daughter of the late William A. and Emma Irene Fletcher Greene.

Mrs. Chanaki worked at the former Honsaker Foodland in Carmichaels until her retirement.

She was a member of the former Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Greensboro.

Ilene is survived by two children, Vincent Gregory Chanaki of Fairmont, W.Va., and Tracey Renee Chanaki Corso (Tony) of Masontown; five grandchildren, Amber Chanaki, Anthony Corso, Justin Corso (Jamie), Benjamin Corso (Tiffany) and Travis Corso (Kristin); four great-grandchildren, MaKenna Corso, Callahan Corso, Greyson Corso and Lukas Corso.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Vincent J. Chanaki Jr.; a grandson, Joshua Gregory Chanaki; four brothers, Robert, William, James and Richard Greene; and two sisters, Thelma Louise L. Hudson and Shirley Gale Stark.
