Jane Halulko Brizzoli, 97, died peacefully Thursday, May 3, 2018, in Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington, where she lived for the past three-and-a-half years. Prior to moving to the SeniorCare facility, she was a lifelong resident of the Burgettstown/Georgetown area.
Jane was born July 18, 1920, in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late Frank and Rozalia Gorniak Towarnicka Halulko.
On September 22, 1949, she married Joseph Brizzoli, who passed away December 21, 2010.
Jane was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are four brothers, Peter Towarnicka, John Halulko, Michael Halulko and Daniel Halulko, and six sisters, Anna DeFrane, Mary Fredericks, Susan Towarnicka, Katherine Rutkauskas, Helen Guna and Estelle Keifer.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Daniel (Mary Anne) Halulko, John (Joyce) Guna, Edward (Rosemary) Guna, David (Sarah) Halulko, Michael (Barbara) Halulko and Susan (Ray) Nice.
Jane’s primary focus in life was her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
At her request, final arrangements are private and under the care of William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
