Kimberly S. Miller
Kimberly S. Miller, 49, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, in Washington Hospital, from treatment complications during her courageous battle with cancer.
She was born February 1, 1969, in Waynesburg, a daughter of John H. Riley and Shirley Burnfield Riley of Waynesburg, who survive.
Kimberly was a 1987 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School. In 1991, she graduated summa cum laude from Waynesburg University.
On August 17, 1996, she married Bryan C. Miller, who survives.
Mrs. Miller taught in Central Greene School District for 25 years. During her career, she touched many lives and was known affectionately as “the queen of fourth grade.”
Kimberly was a loving and devoted mother, wife and daughter. She enjoyed exercising at the gym and loved the beach.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are two children, Drew Bryan Miller and Clara Paige Miller, both at home; a brother, John C. Riley (Angie) of Waynesburg; her mother-in-law, Ruth H. Miller of Waynesburg; her brother-in-law, Barry Miller (Michelle); her sister-in-law, Carolyn Egnosak (Rich); nieces Alexandra and Olivia Miller; nephews Jonathan and Sammy Riley; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are her maternal grandparents, Edward and Hazel Burnfield; paternal grandparents John H. and Eileen Cole Riley; and father-in-law Charles Miller.
Friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, with the Rev. David S. Lake officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township. Waynesburg-Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company will hold visitation at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
