Mildred Mae Klebanski, nee Engel, 89, of Finleyville, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in her home on the family farm, where she was born and lived her life.

She passed away of old age while keeping an eternally young and giving heart. From childhood through her mid-80s, “Millie” vended produce at the family farm market the “old” way – inspecting every piece that went into the bag then adding something extra.

She loved and mentored a large multigenerational circle of family and friends, enjoying time with everyone who came to Engel Lane. She was also an expert bingo player, supporting the Finleyville carnival and local fire halls, a big-time Steelers fan, a soap opera follower and a reader of many books.

Mildred was born September 28, 1928, and was the last surviving child of Henry and Edna Engel’s nine children. She also was predeceased by her son Edward A Klebanski. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Klebanski; children Cheryl Engel, Debra (David) Hamilton, Sandra Klebanski, Mary Beth Kundrat and John Klebanski; grandchildren Kelly, Kevin, Brittany, Brian, Alisha, Eric and Jamie; great-granddaughter Angela; and many, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday evening. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, in Finleyville Cemetery. Donations may be made to Finleyville Volunteer Fire Department, 3562 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, PA 15332.
