Wayne Kargle

Wayne Kargle, 81, of McDonald, Robinson Township, died Friday, May 11, 2018.

He was born September 24, 1936, in Primrose, a son of Frank and Rebecca Campbell Kargle.

Mr. Kargle worked for PennDOT for more than 20 years, retiring in 1999.

On February 6, 1971, he married Georgia Valentine, who survives.

Mr. Kargle was a member of Midway Volunteer Fire Department and an honorary member of McDonald Volunteer Fire Department.

He was a dedicated race car fan and attended many races at PPM. When he was able, he loved fishing and hunting.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a brother, Rayman (Judy) Kargle of Oakdale; a nephew, Jeffrey (Lori) Kargle of McDonald; a niece, Jennifer Kargle of Gettysburg; and an aunt, Jean Tucker of McDonald.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Monday, May 14, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057.
