Richard Anthony Miles
Richard Anthony Miles, 49, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, May 13, 2018.
He was born August 11, 1968, in Philadelphia, a son of Helen Massaro Miles of Cecil and the late Richard Miles.
Richard was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, Canonsburg.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting.
Richard was a member of Stowe Sportsmans Club, Muse Italian Club and SNPJ 138.
He was a dedicated husband and father, and he loved spending time with his family.
Most recently, he worked at The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in the compliance and auditing department.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Kathy Jo LaJevic Miles, sons Joshua Miles and Zachary Miles and daughter Jordan Miles, all of Canonsburg; brother Michael (Lori) Miles of Cecil; mother-in-law Jestine LaJevic of Canonsburg; father-in-law John (Sara Horstman) LaJevic of Canonsburg; brother-in-law John (Jamie) LaJevic Jr. of Butler; nieces and nephews Jessica Miles, Samuel Miles, Miranda LaJevic and Anthony LaJevic; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000, where departing prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. Burial will be private.
