Mildred “Joann” Balsinger, 77, of McMurray, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

She was born May 1, 1941, in Washington, a daughter of the late Sam and Grace Britt Snedeker.

Mrs. Balsinger graduated from Fort Cherry High School in 1960. She was employed for 12 years as a nurse’s aide at Mayview State Hospital until its closing.

She was a member of Friendship Community Church in Washington, where she was baptized.

On February 22, 1962, she married William H. Balsinger, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Robert (Sue) Balsinger of South Park; three brothers, William (Sharon) Snedeker, Frank (Diane) Snedeker and Andrew (Bonnie) Snedeker; sister, Judy (Danny) Heck; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
