Lee Robert Clayton Sr.

Lee Robert Clayton Sr., 72, of McDonald, died Friday, May 18, 2018, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born August 11, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Donald Walter Sr. and Harriet Ann Simmons Clayton.

Mr. Clayton was a graduate of McDonald High School and was owner/operator of Clayton’s RV Park in Mt. Pleasant Township.

He was a member of Western Pennsylvania Corvette Club and enjoyed showing his car at many different car shows. He was a former NFL sports agent and a member of National Rifle Association. He raced horses at Waterford Park and also showed his Rottweiler, Lee’s Shadow, in several AKC events.

In 1992, he married Lenore Dianne Williams, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Denise D. (Mark) Sember of McDonald; a son, Lee Robert (Freda) Clayton Jr. of Burgettstown; four stepchildren, Kimberley (Mike) Andreas of Rogers, Ohio, Michael Pugh of Leetonia, Ohio, Melissa (Dave) Adams of Medford, N.J., and Stephen (Dana) Pugh of Lisbon, Ohio; two brothers, Donald Walter Clayton Jr. of Pittsburgh and Alan Bradley Clayton of Sharpsburg, Ga.; three grandchildren, Michael Malachosky, Mia Sember and Riley Sember; seven stepgrandchildren, Melinda Acord, Chelsea (Shane) Toot, Zachary Pugh, Chloe Pugh, Miky Andreas, Alysha Andreas and Owen David Adams; and a stepgreat-grandchild, Tobias Toot.

Friends will be received for a time of gathering from 6 to 8 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Monday, May 21, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Washington Area Humane Society, P.O. Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
