Lynn J. Bish, 71, of Canonsburg, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Ms. Bish was born March 6, 1947, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Rufus and Mildred Christner.

She was a 1965 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Houston.

She worked as a teacher for Open Door Nursery in Houston and as a nursing assistant for Country Meadows in Bridgeville, until she became disabled due to being struck by a car December 31, 1999.

Surviving are two sons, Brian K. Bish (Amy) and Aaron S. Bish, both of Canonsburg, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a sister, Maryland Garrett, and a brother, Keith Christner.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, North Strabane Township.
