Patsy D. Henderson
Patsy D. Henderson, 73, of Claysville, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018, following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes Duncan Parkinson. She was the last of her immediate family.
On May 19, 1970, she married David M. Henderson, who passed away January 3, 2005. Together they raised four children, Linda (John) Patten of Washington, David (Janelle) Henderson, Bobbie Jo (John) McMasters and the late Charles F. Henderson, who passed away September 4, 2011.
She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Ashley (Thomas) Giles, Skylar N. Patten, Morgan (Bryan) Ewing, Colby (Becca) Crowe, Andrew Nice, Katelyn and Amber Henderson, Joshua (Natasha) McMasters, Jesse (Jasmine) McMasters and Ciara P. McMasters.
Patty enjoyed spending time with her family, going to yard sales and flowers – especially roses. Her greatest joy in life were her seven great-grandchildren, Trenten and Traxten Giles, Avery and Rylan Crowe, Jaxon Ewing, LaRayah McMasters and Aiden McMasters. They brought a smile to her face and a twinkle to her eye.
Also surviving are sister-in-law Inez Hixenbaugh; brother-in-law Kelsey (Sue) Henderson; her best friend and niece, Kay Bush; and several other nieces and nephews.
“The sun, the moon, the wind and stars will forever be around reminding us of the love you shared and the peace you finally found.”
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial is private at Forest Lawn Gardens.
