Richard Gerald Ambrose Jr.
Richard Gerald Ambrose Jr., 53, of West Brownsville, died Monday, May 21, 2018. He fought a long, courageous battle with throat cancer.
He was born May 25, 1964, in Washington, a son of Lillian M. Malekovich Ambrose, with whom he resided, and the late Richard G. Ambrose Sr.
He worked in food service at California University of Pennsylvania for 28 years.
Richard was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan.
He was a social member of West Brownsville Fire Hall, Hungarian Club in Daisytown and American Legion and Slovak Club, both in Roscoe.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are sisters Diane Clelland and husband Ed, Lynn Ambrose and John and Kathy Sieffert and husband Bill; niece Amanda L. Clelland; aunts Cathy Campbell and husband Scott and Clara Malekovich; and cousins Eric and Scotty Campbell, Augie Malekovich and wife Crystal and several others.
Deceased are his maternal grandparents, August and Mary Malekovich; his paternal grandparents, Richard and Elizabeth Patrick Ambrose; and uncle August Malekovich Jr.
