Robert L. Tonecha, 75, of Finleyville, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in his home.
He was born June 30, 1942, in Floreffe, a son of Joseph and Mary Snow Tonecha.
Mr. Tonecha was retired as a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Thomas Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking, along with spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Smith Tonecha; two daughters, Robin Cecil (Keith Utley) of Sandston, Va., and Kim Ferricks (Curt) of Eighty Four; a brother, Joseph J. Tonecha of Finleyville; three sisters, Rosemary Bissette and Frances Tonecha, both of Wilmington, N.C., and Mary Schweitzer of Venetia; five grandchildren, Joey and Jason Cecil, Crystal Reese (Ben), Ashley Simpson (Ronnie) and Sheldon Ferricks (Hannah); five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Austin, Chloe, Natalie and Cali; a “son at heart,” Dan Nagel of Finleyville; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, James Tonecha; and two sisters, Anna Mae Bendel and Betty Zelka.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, with the Rev. Dr. Bill Youmans officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, Peters Township.
