Allen Dennis Yoho
Allen Dennis Yoho, 69, of Moundsville, W.Va., and Flagler Beach, Fla., and formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in Washington Hospital.
He was born January 5, 1949, in Glen Dale, W.Va., a son of the late Kinsey and Violet “Jo” Butler Yoho.
He was Protestant and a retired employee of Consol Energy, with 30 years of service, having worked at both Bailey Mine and Ireland mines. He loved antique and thrift stores and eating good seafood.
In addition to his parents, deceased are a daughter, Jennifer Yoho; a brother, Kermit Yoho; and two sisters, Phyllis Hall and Vicky Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mary Ellen Yoho; two sons, Craig Allen Yoho of West Finley and Christopher Michael (Ashley) Yoho of North Strabane Township; two brothers, Kinsey “Jerry” (Donna) Yoho of Moundsville and Larry (Patty) Yoho of Rosby’s Rock; three sisters, Geraldine (Ronnie) Daugherty of Ohio and JoAnn Lemons and Linda Auten, both of Moundsville; and many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves his beloved dog, Hugo.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 4, with family reflections and spiritual readings by Pastor John Keener.
Interment in Mt. Rose Cemetery, Moundsville.
