David L. Pearson, 67, of Washington, died Sunday, November 4, 2018, in his home.
He was born December 14, 1950, in Washington, a son of the late John R. Pearson and Eva L. Toland Pearson Arent.
Mr. Pearson served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Following his time in the service, he worked as a laborer for Findley Refractories.
He loved all sports, but he particularly enjoyed watching his beloved Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.
Surviving are a daughter, Anastasia Pearson of Dubois; brother, James (Chiquita) Pearson of Washington; three sisters, Shirley Amos of Washington, Kathleen Saurich of Wheeling, W.Va., and Marjorie McKay of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three sons, David L. Jr., Matthew and Dustin Pearson; three brothers, John Robert, Paul Ray and William Wayne Pearson; and two sisters, Delores Ward and Mona Ringer.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, November 9, in Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Ave., Washington, with the Rev. Robert B. Grewe officiating.
