Victoria L. Spanogians Duran
Victoria L. Spanogians Duran, 68, of Bavington, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in Washington Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was born November 9, 1949, a daughter of the late Angelo J. Spanogians, M.D., and Frances Adelia Huber Spanogians.
A graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown, she also completed studies at Art Institute of Pittsburgh and beauty school.
Mrs. Duran was an active member of Robinson United Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening and working in her Pleasant Point greenhouse, as well as helping on her family farm and being a homemaker while raising her family.
Her beloved husband, Timothy Paul Duran, whom she married August 24, 1974, passed away January 5, 2012.
She is survived by her four children, Samuel James Duran and wife Kasey and Daniel Paul Duran and wife Ann, both of Bulger, Andrea Lee Duran and companion Adam Jaracz of Burgettstown and Abigail Rose Rodriguez and husband David of Bulger; son-in-law Donald Yazevac; nine grandchildren, Garrett Yazevac, Alyssa, Isabella and Zachary Rodriguez, Ayla, Adalynn and Jacob Duran, Emmi Rayne and Layla Jaracz; two brothers, James G. Spanogians and wife Elsie of Columbus, Ga., and John M. Spanogians of Greenville, S.C.; two sisters, Pamela J. Meilton and husband Andrew of Pickerington, Ohio, and Rebecca K. Allyn of McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are her daughter, Christy Ann Yazevac, and a brother, Christopher Angelo Spanogians.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Lee and Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 12, in Robinson United Presbyterian Church, 521 Church Lane, Bulger, PA 15019, with the Rev. Pat Schaefer officiating. Guests are kindly asked to go directly to the church Monday morning.
