Jacqueline L. Rutan Miller, a longtime resident of Connellsville, and formerly of Washington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 13, 2018, in Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Washington, a daughter of the late Ray L. and Mary J. Paul Rutan.

Jacqueline was a graduate of Washington High School and was a member of Connellsville Presbyterian Church.

Jacqueline will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving children, Jeffrey S. Miller of Connellsville and Colleen G. Kooser and husband Dale of Connellsville; her grandson, Colin G. Gnibus and wife Jackie of Mt. Pleasant; her great-grandchildren, Ava, Hannah and Noah; her brother, Melvin P. Rutan of Washington; and her sister, Ellen Jane Rutan of Washington.

In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, John R. Miller, who died in 1991; a daughter, Kathleen L. Myers; brother Donald W. Rutan; and sister Marjorie O’Leary.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, 724-628-1430, where a funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, November 17, with the Rev. Suzanne Zampella officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Connellsville Presbyterian Church, 711 South Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425, in memory of Jacqueline L. Miller.
