Freddy D. Morris, 68, of Clarksville, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
He was born February 20, 1950, in Waynesburg, a son of Fred Morris Sr. and Margaret E. George Rankin, both deceased.
Freddy was a combat veteran, serving in Vietnam with the U.S. Army’s First Air Cavalry. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and ride his four-wheeler on his son’s farm and through Seven Creeks. He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather and uncle and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Freddy is survived by son Jay Morris and wife Jolin of McClellandtown; three grandchildren, Gema, Gavin and Greyson; two brothers, Douglas A. Morris and wife Amy and their children, nephew Daniel and wife Ashley and great-niece Daisy, all of Jefferson, and Dillon T. Morris and wife Ashley and nephew Konnor, all of Charleroi; sister Evonne Corbo Prince; niece Alexandra; and great-niece Skylin.
At Freddy’s request, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of H. David McElroy Funeral Home, McClellandtown.
