Sandra L. Dunn, 79, of Washington, died Friday, November 16, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born March 6, 1939, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Stanley Barker and Clara Evelyn Dunn Schneider.

She was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School and went on to study education at California Teachers College, graduating in 1961.

Ms. Dunn taught elementary school in Washington School District for more than 40 years, retiring from Washington Park Elementary School.

She was a member of Alpha Psi sorority, Business and Professional Women, Pennsylvania State Education Association, National Education Association, WEA and Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees.

Ms. Dunn was an avid Steelers fan and loved cats.

Surviving are two nieces, a nephew and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Deceased is a brother, Gerald Dunn.

Friends will be received for a public chapel service at 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, in Washington Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. Please meet at the mausoleum. Interment will be private.
