Gregory A. Kusman, 64, of Clover Hill, Daisytown, died unexpectedly Friday morning, November 16, 2018, at his hunting camp in Cameron County.
He was born January 11, 1954, in Charleroi, a son of the late George and Mary Catherine Sadosky Kusman.
He was a graduate of California High School.
Greg worked for Bethlehem Mines and later for Consol in Eighty Four, from where he retired as a fire boss.
He was a member of American Legion Post 165 and Polish Club, both of Bentleyville, and Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Club. He was also a 38-year member of United Mine Workers of America.
Greg loved fishing, hunting, golfing and riding his motorcycle. He also loved his two granddaughters.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Pettit Kusman; two children, Clayton Kusman (Donna) and Jenny Ridge, all of Clover Hill; two granddaughters, Delaney L. and Jozie R. Ridge; a sister, Patricia Leach of California; two nieces; and several cousins.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21. A procession will follow to Maple Creek Cemetery, Charleroi, for a graveside committal service.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to American Legion Post 165, 500 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314.
