Barry E. Black
Barry E. Black, 70, of Johnstown, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in his home.
He was born January 6, 1948, in Waynesburg, a son of Dora Lutes Black Vassallo of McClellandtown and the late Bruce Elton Black.
On October 10, 1974, he married Judy Rigel Black, who survives.
Barry was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491, Carmichaels.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching NASCAR races.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are his children, Dora Mae, James and Joseph (Nancy); stepchildren Debra (Michael), Thomas (Alicia) and Kimberly; 25 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Bruce, Skip, Thomas, Jim and Dana; and a sister, Pam.
Three children preceded him in death.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 26. Burial will follow in Jefferson Cemetery.
