Sharon Hines Miller
Sharon Hines Miller, 72, of Amity, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018, in Washington Hospital.
She was born July 21, 1946, in Amity, a daughter of the late Albert and Elva Sandy Hines.
Mrs. Miller was employed as a glassworker with Brockway Glass in Washington for more than 10 years. She was also employed with British Petroleum for more than 13 years, retiring in 2008.
Sharon enjoyed traveling and family gatherings.
On April 18, 1974, in Winchester, Va., she married Andrew J. Miller Jr., who died May 6, 2018.
Surviving are two sons, Wendell Dillie (Terri) of Jumping Branch, W.Va., and Andrew Miller III of Amity; three grandchildren, Curtis Dillie III, Tess Morris and Wesley Dillie; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a son, Curtis Dillie; three brothers, James, Ralph and Harold Hines; and a sister, Shirlene Feather.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 30, with the Rev. Andy Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery.
