Patricia Ann “Tricia” Hughes, 51, of Washington, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born July 22, 1967, in New York City, N.Y., a daughter of Margaret Ann Conti Hughes of Washington and the late Edward B. Hughes.

Ms. Hughes loved and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time outdoors, landscaping and interior decorating.

Surviving are her fiancé, Ray W. Sprowls, with whom she shared a home for over 20 years; a son, John D. Kelley Jr. (Cortney); a daughter, Taylor R. Sprowls; siblings Ed Hughes, Donna Perez (Mike) and Michael Hughes, all of Washington; three grandchildren, Keirsten, Ryleigh and Ryker Kelley; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 3. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
