Robert E. DiAndreth, 80, of Fredericktown (Deemston Boro), died Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in UPMC-Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born March 3, 1938, in Marianna, a son of the late Ulysses A. and Rina Marraccini DiAndreth.
Mr. DiAndreth was a 1956 graduate of Bethlehem-Joint High School and a 1960 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, receiving a bachelors in education.
He taught math and computer science at Penn Hills School District, retiring in 1993 after 33 years of service. He also taught classes at CCAC-Boyce for many years.
Mr. DiAndreth was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Murraysville and attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Glyde for many years. He was a member of PSEA-R and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and farming.
On April 4, 1964, he married Virginia Brock DiAndreth, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Leann Elkins (Greg) of Morgantown,W.Va.; a son, Mark DiAndreth (Jennifer) of Delmont; brother, James DiAndreth (Patricia) of Greensburg; sister, Carolyn Zanardelli (James) of Washington; and four grandchildren, Emily and Lauren Elkins and Zachary and Dominic DiAndreth.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are three brothers, Angelo, Joseph and Anthony DiAndreth and six sisters, Anna Patterson, Dora Marracini, Josephine DiAndreth, Frances Goble, Freda Butcher and Helen Phillips.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St., Beallsville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 8, in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Glyde. Interment will be held in Monongahela Cemetery.
