Joyce Hunt, 88, of Rices Landing, died Sunday, October 21, 2018, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home.

She was born September 14, 1930, in Rices Landing, a daughter of Donald and Dorothea McClain McKee.

Joyce was a 1949 graduate of Jefferson High School.

She was a homemaker, who lived all of her life in Rices Landing. She was a member of Rices Landing United Methodist Church, where she also played the piano for church services. She was an avid walker and used the River Trail since it opened.

On March 5, 1955, she married Walter “Peck” Hunt, who died March 6, 1997.

Surviving are three daughters, Valerie (Allen) Grimm of Rices Landing, Suzanne (Garry) Cobert of Dallas, Texas, and Rebecca Stilwell of Rices Landing; five grandchildren, AJ Grimm, Jordan Grimm, Olivia Cobert, Travis (Shelby) Stilwell and Clinton Stilwell; and a great-grandson, Ayden Stilwell.

Deceased are two sisters, Nancy Christopher and Doris Rager and two brothers, Sheldon and Dale McKee.
