Patricia J. Harvey Neely
Patricia J. Harvey Neely, 86, of Morgantown, W.Va., died at 2:34 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born Monday, May 2, 1932, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Anthony Sperandio and Adaline Mayhew Sperandio.
Mrs. Neely was Catholic. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked as a certified nursing assistant in Vincent Palotti Hospital in Morgantown and later at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. She then worked for Davis and Lynch Glass in Morgantown.
Her first husband, Lewis C. Harvey, whom she married September 26, 1947, died January 15, 1978. Her second husband, Alton Neely, whom she married July 3, 1987, died October 14, 2014.
Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca Lemley and husband David of Mt. Morris, Kathy Scotchel and husband Louis of Morgantown and Dawn Golden and husband Mike of Morgantown; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Carol Harvey of Winchester, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are a son, Wayne Harvey; grandson Mark Harvey; and three brothers, Edward, Leonard and Donald Sperandio.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, October 27, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 324 Mount Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, with Father John V. DiBacco officiating. Entombment will be in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Morgantown.
