Harriet Jane Muncie, 81, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Washington, died Sunday, October 28, 2018.

She was born November 16, 1936, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Eloise Rearick Mastorakis.

A graduate of South Hills High School, Mrs. Muncie worked as a bookkeeper for General Electric.

She was a member of Scenery Hill United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed volunteering. Mrs. Muncie also enjoyed cooking, decorating and spending time with friends and family.

She was very devoted to her husband, the late Donald Anthony Muncie. They were married September 30, 1972, and he passed away March 6.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Muncie and William (Tracy) Muncie, both of Washington; two daughters, Julie (Alvaro) Castellanos of Pittsburgh and Sonja (James) Kowcheck of Washington; brother Paul (Evelyn) Mastorakis of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren, Mallorie, Heidi, Ted, Jerrica, Janice, Jillian, Kevin and Daniel; and two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Brandon.

Deceased are a daughter, Brenda Muncie and a sister, Eloise Visk.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 2, with the Rev. Sue Petritis officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
