Roy R. Copeland Jr., 53, of Hickory, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 30, 2018, in his home.
He was born May 25, 1965, in Tempe, Ariz., to the late Roy R. Copeland Sr. and Jacqueline Semke Copeland, who survives.
Mr. Copeland was a supervisor of housekeeping in Peters Township Wellness Center.
He had previously been employed by Canonsburg Hospital as a floor technician for 18 years.
Roy was passionate about motorcycles and a proud owner of a Harley-Davidson, which he enjoyed riding as often as possible.
He was gifted with many talents and abilities, including woodworking, drawing and painting. He had a kindred spirit with animals and enjoyed all animals in nature.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his devoted companion, Tina L. Schultz of Hickory; his two sisters, Heather Zuchowski (Jeff) of Beallsville and Beth Copeland of Waynesburg; his niece and nephews, Tyler, Ian and Nicole; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m., the time of services, Friday, November 2, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor, and Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. Interment will be private.
