Patty M. Elza-Williams, 87, of Waynesburg, died at 9:50 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2018, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.

She was born Friday, December 12, 1930, in Wana, W.Va., a daughter of the late Fred L. Yeager and Ethel Shultz Yeager.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Church of Christ in Waynesburg. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crossword puzzles and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. She attended Clay-Battelle High School and Waynesburg High School. She worked for 31 years at Greenway Manufacturing as a supervisor.

Her husband, Samuel W. Elza, died October 10, 1989.

Surviving are daughter Christine Kerr of Waynesburg; son Samuel W. Elza Jr. and companion Nancy Palmer of Washington; four grandchildren, Shawn Elza, Terry Meek, Angela Morris and husband Jan and Justin Kerr and wife Danielle; two great-grandchildren, Brooke Meek and Breanna Kerr; brother Allan “Doc” Yeager of Core, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are daughter Diane Meek; grandson Darryl Elza; sisters Dolly Yeager and Norma Jean Lipscomb; and two brothers, Fred L. Yeager Jr. and Robert Yeager.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. William Parker officiating. Burial will be held in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Morgantown, W.Va. Arrangements by Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L.
