David M. Jox

David M. Jox, 62, of Canonsburg, died Friday, September 7, 2018.
He was born May 28, 1956, in Canonsburg, a son of Robert and Glenna Goodnight Jox.
Prior to his retirement, David worked as a laborer in the logging industry. He also worked in a coal mine.
He was a member of American Legion Post 793, French Club and Labor Temple, Canonsburg. David was an avid motorcyclist.
Surviving are his mother, Glenna Goodnight Jox of Canonsburg; his son, Robert (Nicole) Jox of Pittsburgh; his daughter, Christina Jox of Bridgeville; his brothers, Donald Jox of Waterford, Ohio, and E. Jeffrey (Pamela) Jox of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Paige and Carly Jox; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Jox.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation and services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
