Antoinette M. DaPra
Antoinette M. DaPra, 93, of Canonsburg, died Monday, September 10, 2018.
She was born May 21, 1925, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary LaMantia Fenimore.
Mrs. DaPra was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, Canonsburg, where she was a member of Christian Mothers.
A 1944 graduate of Canonsburg High School, she enjoyed reading, cooking, playing bingo and sending cards to her family and friends.
On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1946, she married her high school sweetheart, Clement J. DaPra, with whom she shared more than 66 years of marriage, until his death April 27, 2012.
Surviving are her son, Clement J. (Kathleen) DaPra Jr. of Canonsburg; her daughters, Mary Ann DaPra of Canonsburg, Deborah (Ron) Hoy of California and Patti Ann DaPra of Johnstown; a brother, Leonard Fenimore of Johnstown; a sister, Cynthia Zelinsky of Eighty Four; grandchildren Jerzy (Yumi) DaPra Peters, Alison DaPra, Tami (Darren) Elewski, Chet R. (Laura) Elewski and Erica (Steve) Kennedy; great-grandchildren Jin DaPra-Peters, Connor Kennedy and Riley Elewski; her dear sister-in-law, Violet Bender; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are her son, Fiory, who died in infancy, and a son-in-law, Chester T. Elewski.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000, where departing prayers will be said at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 13. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made in Antoinette’s name to TownView Health & Rehabilitation Activity Fund.
