Josephine Seik
Josephine Seik, 96, peacefully passed away Friday, September 14, 2018.
She was born March 27, 1922, in Burgettstown, a daughter of Germanio and Ellen Tonetti Farinelli.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Harold W. Seik, and siblings Anthony DeRoy, Mary Soubie Brown, Alvira Steinhart, Viola Campbell and Angeline “Honey” Farinelli.
Josephine loved her family and friends and was kind to everyone she met. She volunteered for 16 years at West Allegheny Food Pantry in Imperial. She loved playing euchre at both American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts. Heaven has truly gained a beautiful soul.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Her family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. A blessing service will be held at noon Monday, September 17. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
