Caroline G. McQuade
Caroline G. McQuade, 93, of Somers, N.Y., died Thursday, September 13, 2018, following a brief illness.
She was born October 28, 1924, a daughter of Stephen and Irene Buchta Gajarsky.
Mrs. McQuade graduated from Trinity High School in 1942.
On March 10, 1946, she married John L. McQuade Sr., who is deceased.
Surviving are three children, Carol (Chuck) Schultz of Port Richey, Fla., Susan (John) Indelicato of Carmel, N.Y., and John L. (Kathleen) McQuade Jr. of Hyde Park, N.Y.; a brother, Carl (Patti) Gajarsky of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, deceased are nine siblings, Peter, Stephen, John, Catherine, Irene, Mary Ann, Helen, Marguarita and JoAnn.
Friends will be received 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where a prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Edgewater Park Social and Welfare Association, in care of F. Mahoney, 213 B Edgewater Park, Bronx, NY 10465. This is an organization Mrs. McQuade was involved in for many years and was dear to her heart.
