Carol Ann Maloy, 75, of Washington, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, in Washington Hospital, following her courageous yearlong battle with cancer.

She was born October 12, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of the late George Schriskey and Frances Louise Samida Schriskey.

Ms. Maloy was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School. She was a homemaker who also worked at Brockway No. 7, Imperial Cleaners, Walmart and Westland Auction.

An avid Steelers fan, she also enjoyed making crafts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of her family and solving crossword puzzles.

Ms. Maloy was a member of St. Hilary Church, Washington.

Surviving are three children, Sammy Maloy (Tracy Murr), James R. Maloy (Jennifer) and Kristy L. Maloy (Rick Keener), all of Washington; three brothers, Kenny Schriskey (Kathy) of East Washington and Richard Schriskey and Bobby Schriskey, both of Washington; five grandchildren, Sammy Maloy V (Joe), Constance Dobrzynski (Mitch), Joseph R. Maloy (Logen Claude), Brittney Roberts and Larry Roberts; a niece, Kerry Stewart (Brian) of Washington; and a nephew, Richard Schriskey Jr.

At the request of the deceased, services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., Washington.
