Wilma L. Hardesty, 86, formerly of Marianna, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, in Premier Washington Health Center, Chartiers Township.
She was born December 13, 1931, in Richeyville, a daughter of the late Hobert and Margaret Kisner Howes.
A graduate of Centerville High School, Wilma enjoyed baking, knitting and sewing. She was a member of United Church of God.
On June 29, 1951, she was married to Vance Hardesty, who died January 17, 1990.
Surviving are a daughter, Dr. Katherine Hardesty of California; two sons, Guy Hardesty (Jeanette) of Kansas City, Kan., and Russell Hardesty of Eighty Four; and two grandchildren, Russell Hardesty Jr. and Gregory Hardesty.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are three sisters, Louise Gordon, Helen Rhodes and Leona Grable, and a brother, Robert Howes.
Funeral arrangements and burial will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington.
