Veronica Lynch

Veronica Lynch, 86, of Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born September 20, 1932, in Fredericktown, a daughter of the late Louis J. and Anna Tossak Zites.

A homemaker, Veronica was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish Fredericktown Campus and was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Hanson-Cole American Legion Post 391.

Mrs. Lynch was an avid bingo player and especially enjoyed camping with her family.

Surviving are a son, Thomas Patrick Lynch of Brownsville; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Yoders (Daryl) of Grindstone and Joetta Rose (Pete) of Fredericktown; a sister, Anna McVan (Frank) of Geneva on the Lake, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Tina, Bobby and Heather Rose, Kevin Yoders and Kelley, Tiffany, Patty and Crystal Lynch; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are six brothers, Anthony, William, John, Frank, Joseph and Louis Zites Jr.; three sisters, Elizabeth Zites, Mary Kerr and Margaret Chiera; and a grandson, Allen Dressel.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home Ltd., 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 27, with Edward L. Yuhas, administrator officiating. Private interment will be held in Fredericktown Cemetery.
