Frances Dragich

Frances Dragich, 88, a longtime resident of Fredericktown, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
She was born April 29, 1930, in Kenosha, Wis., to the late Marcello and Palma Dalla Santa Dalle Vedove.
Frances was a 1940 graduate of East Bethlehem High School and attended Penn Commercial Business School in Washington.
On August 9, 1952, she married Theodore Dragich, who died September 29, 1978.
Mrs. Dragich was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Carmichaels.
Frances worked as a bank teller and loan officer at First National Bank (National City Bank) in Fredericktown, until her retirement January 5, 1995. After her retirement, Frances was an active volunteer at Fredericktown Public Library. She supported St. George Orthodox Church with baking, fundraising and volunteering in many capacities.
At home, she enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and gardening. Frances was proud of her Italian heritage and shared many family recipes with her family and friends.
Frances is survived by three daughters, Denise Dragich of Indiana, Myra Bernhart (Tim) of Washington and Melissa Dragich (Lissa Feldman) of Portland, Ore.; three grandsons, Theodore Jacob Shaffer, Nathan Daniel Shaffer (Carmen Comsti) and Brad Thomas Bernhart (Amber Loar); granddaughter Maya Rose Feldman-Dragich; two loving sisters, Stella Rizzotto and Marcella DeRosch, both of Kenosha; sisters-in-law Anna Mae and Rita Marchesini; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, who were an important part of her life.
Deceased are two brothers, Harry “Rico” Marchesini and John Marchesini.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 42 Bank Street, Fredericktown. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 1, in St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Carmichaels, with the Rev. Sasa Nedic, assisted by the Rev. Rodney Torbich, former priest of St. George, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A brief Pomen service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
