Alice Kebart

Alice Kebart, 89, of Washington, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 29, 2018, in Strabane Woods, Washington.

She was born December 16, 1928, in Canonsburg, to Joseph and Mary Rubis Kebart, who preceded her in death.

Alice was a member of St. Patrick Church in Canonsburg, where she was a member of Christian Mothers. She was a faithful member of St. Genevieve’s, Canonsburg, before it closed. She taught Sunday school classes and was a member of the choir at St. Genevieve’s.

She worked as an office manager for many years in the insurance industry, until her retirement.

Alice volunteered for many years at Canonsburg Hospital.

She was an avid traveler who visited many places around the world and particularly enjoyed her trip to Egypt and the holy land.

Miss. Kebart was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Walter, Edward, Mike, Alfred and Vincent Kebart and her two sisters, Sophie Sifinski and Edna Tomsic.

In accordance with Alice’s wishes, all funeral services and interment in St. Patrick Cemetery will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor, Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
