Doris Kenzleiter Saymansky
Doris Saymansky 89, of Carnegie, formerly of Borland Manor in North Strabane and The Villages, Fla., died peacefully Saturday, August 3, 2019, in her home, with her family by her side.
Doris was born December 29, 1929, in Washington, to the late William and Leah Freville Kenzleiter.
She was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School. As a young girl, she worked for the American Water Works Company in Washington. She was also a manager for over 25 years with the direct sales company, Queens – Way to Fashion and finally, she was the owner of Doris’ Bridal House in Canonsburg.
On July 3, 1949, she was married to Walter Saymansky in St. Hilary’s Catholic Church in Washington. The two shared a long and loving marriage and celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last month. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Carnegie.
Surviving are her beloved husband Walter; two sons, Gary (Becky) Saymansky of Darlington and Jay (Christina) Saymansky of Carnegie; grandchildren Jeffrey, Holly, Marcie, Mauri and Aubrey; stepgrandchildren Aci, Brooke and James; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her little caretaker grandpup, Lucy.
Deceased are her grandson, Scott Saymansky; sisters Leah Hager and Betty Luxbacher; brother Bill Kenzleiter; and her special angel grandpup, Daisy!
Also surviving are sister-in-law Betty Kenzleiter; sister-in-law Carolyn Pollock; and brother-in-law Ed Saymansky.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-941-3211. On Monday, August 12, a visitation will take place one hour prior to the blessing service at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
