Donna Lee Main
Donna Lee “Peg” Main, 85, of Rogersville, passed away after failing health for the past five years on Thursday, August 8, 2019, in Waynesburg Health and Rehabilitation, Waynesburg.
Born May 24, 1934, in Coburn, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Earl Gayle and Ruth Hinerman Ensminger.
Donna attended Waynesburg Central High School. She was a member of the Rogersville United Methodist Church, where she participated in the Worship Group and was a leader in the monthly Good Neighbor dinners. Donna was formerly employed as the Center Township tax collector. She also was a cook at West Greene High School cafeteria. Donna enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening, bird watching and feeding others.
Surviving are four children, Donald “Donnie” E. (Nancy) Main, William “Bill”(Bobbi) Main, Sheila (Jeff) Stover, all of Rogersville, and Sherry (Larry) Wise of Jollytown; grandchildren, Billie Jo (Daniel) Barnhart, Donald “DJ” Main, Dillon Main, Shaun (Autumn Begley) Main, Joni (Noah) Beazell, Nicholas (Amber) Wise, Joshua Wise, Morgan Stover and Linzee Stover; stepgrandchildren Ashleigh Brumley, Tommy Burkholder, Timmy Burkholder and Allie Burkholder; great-grandchildren, Brady Barnhart, Josie Barnhart, Emmaline Beazell, Elaina Beazell and Evynn Beazell; siblings Earl G. “Bud” (Beatrice) Ensminger, Geraldine Antill, Lois Tustin, Regina “Jeannie” (David) Thompson and Lonnie (Sharon) Ensminger; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Elsworth Main in 2007; a daughter, Kathryn Ruth Main, who passed in infancy; and one sister, Joann Plants.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home LLC., 3275 West Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, 724-499-5181. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 12, in the funeral home, with Pastor Bruce Judy officiating. A graveside service will follow at Bethany Cemetery, Holbrook.
