Jennie Tintori Broda

Jennie Tintori Broda, 84, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Uniontown, died Friday, February 8, 2019.

She was born in Belle Vernon, to Robert Tintori and Elsie Braddock Tintori. In addition to her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her son, William G. Broda, and a brother, Robert L. Tintori.

Jennie was a past president of Women’s Aglow, a committee member of the “National Day of Prayer” and a member of the Gideon’s. She attended the Church of God, where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and was involved with other ministries.

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, William J. Broda; two daughters, Susan Mercadante and Carol Moretz; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Lorraine Furr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home & Crematories Inc., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, where family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will continue from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, in Calvary Baptist Church, McClellantown Road, Uniontown, followed by a service celebrating Jennie’s life at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Joe Ritz and Pastor Mike Singo co-officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
