Frederick A. Dziak

Frederick A. Dziak, 83, of Washington, formerly of Cokeburg and Macedonia, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 30, 2018, in Transitions Healthcare, South Strabane Township.

He was born January 24, 1935, in Cokeburg, a son of the late Albert and Margaret Miller Dziak.

Mr. Dziak served in the U.S. Army before becoming employed by Ford Motor Co., where he worked as a supervisor on the shipping docks for more than 40 years, until his retirement.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Odd Fellows and Knights of Columbus in the Cleveland area. Mr. Dziak was an avid golfer and bowler. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren after his retirement. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his former wife, Carol Dziak of Macedonia; two daughters, Diane (John) New of Windham, Ohio, and Susan (David) Ersek of Aurora, Ohio; two sisters, Anna Mae Hormell and Eleanor Atkins; five grandchildren, Andrew and Ryan Tucholsky and David, Iszabella and Ereka Ersek; and his longtime friend, Joan Martin.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are four brothers and a sister.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, January 3, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., corner of Wilson and East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Interment will be private.
