Enjoyed gardening and spending time with her familyMary A. Bennett Miller, 85, of Avella, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 2, 2019 in her home surrounded by family.

She was born on August 3, 1933 in Penowa (Avella), PA, daughter of the late Robert John and Rosalie Vandal Bennett.

Mary attended Avella schools and was Catholic by faith.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and her dog Toby and cat Jake. She liked to watch her soap operas and loved to listen to Neil Diamond.

Surviving are, her companion of 48 years, Eddie Wasik; two sons, Robert (Yvonne) Dupain of Washington, Gary (Edith) Dupain of Avella; a daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Lee of Washington; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Paul (Dorothy) Bennett of Burgettstown; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents are, a brother, Joseph Bennett; two sisters, Rose Schaefer and Lucy Aloia.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday, January 4, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home, Inc., 18 Campbell St. Avella, PA 15312, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, with Rev. Harry Biele.

Burial will be in West Point Cemetery, Avella.
