Lorena E. Anderson, 85, of Weirton, W..Va., passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Weirton Medical Center.

Born October 30, 1933, in Brave, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Kate Kent Cole. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Anderson; son, Dennis Anderson; four brothers and a sister.

Lorena worked maintenance at the WSX building and at the Pittsburgh Airport. She was also the former owner of Andersons Beauty Shop in Paris.

She belonged to The Colliers First Church of God. She enjoyed bowling and belonged to several leagues. She was a member of the Brave Fire Co., Civil Defense and the Auxiliary Policeman. She also enjoyed crafts, sewing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Lorena is survived by her son, Donald Anderson and his wife Sandy of Weirton; and her grandchildren, Paul Anderson and his fiance, Julie Orangeo and Kirsten Taylor and her husband, William.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 14.
