Bruce Wayne McGibbon Sr. 71, of Cameron, W.Va., died at 11:13 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2019, in the Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, W.Va. after a lengthy illness, with his family by his side.

He was born Wednesday, October 22, 1947 in Methuen, Mass., a son of the late Raymond McGibbon and Elsie Choquette McGibbon.

Mr. McGibbon attended the First Assembly of God Church in Waynesburg. He loved to fish, go horseback riding and going to horse shows. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. McGibbon worked as the regional sales and marketing manager for various cable companies and enjoyed traveling for work.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Shoukal McGibbon, whom he married on May 21, 1966.

Also surviving are one daughter, Melissa (Brad) Henderson, of Cameron, W.Va., two sons, Bruce Wayne (Lisa) McGibbon, Jr., of Manchester, N.H., and Michael McGibbon, of Carmichaels; nine grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Michael, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Bradley, Joshua, Krystal, Samantha; four great-grandchildren; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of the service, Friday, January 18, in the First Assembly of God Church, 4131 West Roy Furman Highway, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with Pastor James Galbraith officiating. Burial will be private.
