Sonja Marlene Ball
Sonja Marlene Ball, 79 of Waynesburg, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Washington Health System Greene.
She was born June 27, 1939 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Arthur R. and Helen Louise Church Clayton.
Sonja was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson High School.
She was a member of the Jefferson Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 954, Jefferson.
On July 25, 1959 she married Hilary Richard Ball, who died February 23, 1980.
Surviving are four children, April Ball of Waynesburg, Randy (Darla) Ball of Waynesburg, Bryan (Joan) Ball of Carmichaels, and Tamara Ball Grash of Carmichaels; seven grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; a brother, James A. Clayton of Waynesburg.
Deceased is an infant daughter, Kimberly Sue Ball.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 18, with the Rev. Nick Bardo officiating. Interment to follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
