Muriel E. Clark, 102, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Buffalo Township where she resided.

She was born April 15, 1916 in North Strabane Township, a daughter of William and Ethel Lawrence Withrow.

Mrs. Clark was a graduate of Trinity High School.

She had worked as a seamstress for Bobbi Brooks in Washington.

Muriel enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and playing cards.

Married twice, she lost her first husband, Quinton Bumgartel, when he died serving his country during World War II. She later married Carter Ray Clark who passed away January 2, 1983.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Clark (Kathy) and Kenneth Clark; two stepdaughters, Connie Klapkowski and Martha McHale; seven grandchildren, Kurt and Kristen Klapkowski, Mitch and Maureen McHale, Travis and Hilary Clark and Sierra Clark; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K.
